A Will or “Last Will” is a legal document that directs how your assets (money, accounts, real estate, personal belongings, vehicles, etc.) should be distributed after your death and who is in charge of your estate. It must be signed and witnessed according to state laws. A Will generally has to be taken to probate court after the person passes away to carry out their wishes.
