Does a Will avoid probate court?

No. A Will is not designed to avoid probate court. In fact, it is usually necessary to go to probate court to enforce the gifts in a Will. There are other strategies that can avoid probate court, but the different options need to be discussed with an experienced estate planning attorney to avoid creating other problems.
